  About the Author

  Stephanie Calmenson has written many popular books for children, including Dinner at the Panda Palace; May I Pet Your Dog?; and the Ready, Set, Dogs! series, written with Magic School Bus author Joanna Cole. Before turning to writing, Stephanie was a teacher. When we asked how she’d feel having a wolf for a student, she said, “Any wolf who follows Wolfy’s pledge would be welcome in my room!”
